Juicy Pork Chops with Dry Plums!
Ingredients
- 4 pork chops
- 1 onion
- 1 cup dry plums
- 2-3 cups water or broth
- 2-4 tbsp oil
- 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
- pinch of salt and black pepper
Instructions
- Slice plums in have and cover with hot water
- Peel and slice onion
- Flatten pork chops and season with salt and pepper
- Slice pork chops in half and dust in flour
- In a large skillet or pan, heat the oil over medium-high heat.
- Brown pork chops and set aside
- In the same skillet or pan cook onion until translucent
- Add pork chops and plums with water to onion
- Add more water to cover meat
- Simmer for 30-40 minutes until pork chops are tender
- Adjust seasoning and serve hot with fresh herbs, if desired.
