Ingredients
  

  • 4 pork chops
  • 1 onion
  • 1 cup dry plums
  • 2-3 cups water or broth
  • 2-4 tbsp oil
  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • pinch of salt and black pepper

Instructions
 

  • Slice plums in have and cover with hot water
  • Peel and slice onion
  • Flatten pork chops and season with salt and pepper
  • Slice pork chops in half and dust in flour
  • In a large skillet or pan, heat the oil over medium-high heat.
  • Brown pork chops and set aside
  • In the same skillet or pan cook onion until translucent
  • Add pork chops and plums with water to onion
  • Add more water to cover meat
  • Simmer for 30-40 minutes until pork chops are tender
  • Adjust seasoning and serve hot with fresh herbs, if desired.
